For the people who have satellite. Who do you use for internet access? I would be likely to change cable providers if I had access to a decent broadband connection.

DishNetwork and AT&T for Internet and phone, love it!

He's out near Boerne. TWC may be faster overall, but his gets super slow in the mornings and the evenings. We know that it is because that is when it is at peak use as more people are at home, but TWC hasn't admitted that. They have him going in circles telling him it's his computer ,which is BS as it works great during off hours. As he does a lot of work from home and those are the most important times for him to have online access, it doesn't do any good to tell him TWC is the fastest overall.

Weird, mine is pretty consistant no matter what time of day it is. Does he have RR turbo?

Not sure, I didn't ask all his specs, but I'm sure it's not their basic service. TWC just put their lines into the area within the past 3 years or so and I find it weird that they didn't go in with enough capability to handle the area. It only happens during times when people are at home, early in the morning before school and in the afternoon when all the kids are getting home. He said it was really bad the other night during the VP debate when everyone was watching TV. He said he had to wait until late that night to do anything onlien. Any other times, it works fine.

in boerne if he is experiencing slow downs it likely wont matter if he has turbo or basic, sounds like they are bottle-necking on their end because they only have one way in-out
