Best job of anyone I know, love what I do and do what I love. I am a marriage and family therapist and I do contract work serving military families. Most of the year I work locally and once in a great while they send me somewhere interesting. Today I am in Landstuhl, Germany and it's in the 70s here with a beautiful sunset. Can't complain (and yet I do.) Three more weeks and I get to see my sweet husband again.
Cons: self employment, so higher taxes, no benefits, and zero job security. Even with that, it's great work if you can get it.
