Yes. The location in Shertz has a pretty reasonable cost for renting the hall. Also, we have several folks that come down from Austin and the surrounding area up north for the swap. It creates a happy medium. With attendance at or over 100 people per event, I felt that it was a good location. I do agree we should do more events on the northwest or central area. I will look into some new places over there. If you have any ideas, let me know so I can contact them for pricing information.

Unless it is in Floresville I drive 45 minutes to an hour to get to any of those locations.

Lack of another venue is a problem. When we outgrew Easter Seals we struggled to find a new one. If anyone has suggestions, we are open ears.

The August meeting was at Bass Pro, once you took away the board members and speakers the turnout was very light. San Antonio is not that large, you can travel across it in 30 minutes as long as you stay clear of a few intersections.
