Again, I may be wrong, I am no expert, but this is what I have heard.

I do the freshwater dips (which I need to learn how to do), metronizoale, and boosting immune with garlic.
Fresh wTer dips are super easy have about 5 gal RO heated to same as tank water and place your fish in bucket he might just lay there and freak you out like he is dying or he may swim around and release his bowls which is better if he releases his bowls time it 5-7 min and monitor closely for stress if the fish seems really stressed remove and place back in the QT the fresh water dip will clear out his gills of the ich making breathing easier for the fish
