Copper question?

So my hippo and yellow tang have ick.. They are both in my qt tank.. I have a heater and small filter on the back and nano power head.. Any inputs on copper..(seachem cupramine). I'm using marine C and feeding nori alone with brine shrimp adding garlic guard to food.. So question is does anyone use copper to kill ick?

IMHO I wouldn't use copper on tangs. My regal had ick I gave her 2 fresh water dips and used metronizoale and focus and she hasn't had ick since

Pet store told me to use I want to get input before I use or maybe go a different route.. I was thinking hypo...

Yea I used hypo with the meds garlic and fresh water dips

From what I heard hypo is not that great of a solution, most livestock cant live in a salinity level where the ich will die off, which is well below 1.009.

Again, I may be wrong, I am no expert, but this is what I have heard.

I do the freshwater dips (which I need to learn how to do), metronizoale, and boosting immune with garlic.

Fresh wTer dips are super easy have about 5 gal RO heated to same as tank water and place your fish in bucket he might just lay there and freak you out like he is dying or he may swim around and release his bowls which is better if he releases his bowls time it 5-7 min and monitor closely for stress if the fish seems really stressed remove and place back in the QT the fresh water dip will clear out his gills of the ich making breathing easier for the fish
