Default Any experience with Sunsun External Filters?

Looking at getting a UV sterilizer and saw this external filter with one(9w) and was wondering if it was any good?

I had one of those, without the UV upgrade. It's an okay canister, the baskets are cheap and broke on me, but it ran well enough as a canister filter. I only used it on FW years ago though and can't speak the to the effectiveness of the UV.

Also, am I supposed to purchase a separate pump for this filter or do they come with one? Sorry, never had an external before, just HOB.

if this your primary filtration i would get a sump and run a fuge, its nice to have a place to put a skimmer, heater, and refugium. if your tank is not drilled you can always get a hang on back over flow

I'm currently building a 20g sump/refugium for my 75. Currently running a HOB AC110 and a HOB reef Octopus thats been great. I'm either going to go with a DIY overflow or a lifereef overflow(tank is already setup, cant drill).

My main concern was running a UV sterilizer that I would need to get a pump for anyways so I was thinking a canister filter with carbon/GFO and put the UV inline with the canister filter w/ carbon/GFO/whatever else I want to use.

I've been researching and that sunsun canister filter is meh, but Eheims and the Marinelands come highly recommended.
