I know we are on a totally different water provider than San Antonio and NB. Do any of you just use tap water(chlorine and chloramines removed) for your tanks?. I have heard good things about the water.

Schertz or Cibolo? Also which part of Cibolo?
Schertz gets water from the Carrillo-Wilcox aquifer. Cibolo gets water from Guadalupe Regional and other parts of Cibolo get water from Green Valley.

Canyon Regional supplies a bunch of the water to Green Valley and others. Low in TDS but stinks sometimes when heated. I change my sediment filters twice as often but my DI filter last longer. I miss Edwards Aquifer water, harder but cleaner.

Schertz has soft water and does not add chloramines that I know of.
