You have to go all the way to the end of the jetties and it has to be at night. When i did it it was probably around 10pm You will need a net with a long handle, a good headlamp or bright flashlight, a bucket and a bubbler. Start looking around the edges and you will see little ponds of water, some look deep others dont. You will also notice alot of sergeant major damsels sleeping they are super easy to catch. In the more shallow holes you will see crabs hermits and snail, Anyways when you flash your flashlight down the deeper holes you can usually see the peps eyes reflecting back.. but even if you dont see them put your net in as deep as you can and scrape up against the rocks. keep doing this in different areas and you will start catching them here and there. Be carefull thought very slippery and some part of the jetties no longer have the big rocks on the side so the water is deep. good luck
