That asov is designed for systems with pressure tanks. Not likely to be the issue, but I can't say for sure.

I'm still saying that the tubing is wrong. It looks complicated, but it's really not.

housewater>prefilter/carbon blocks>asov in>asov out>ro membrane in (the single fitting in the screw on cap)>membrane>center fitting on membrane house goes>asov in>asov out>di resin. The offset fitting on the membrane housing goes to your waste line.

The flow restrictor should be in your waste line as it exits the membrane housing. It's a vital piece of equipment, as it creates backpressure so that the membrane can function properly.

Can you get a better pic of your asov where it's marked in and out. I can only see the upper part of it.

Thanks again sherita!......This is just a quick mock up as I will get all the tubes cut to size....

We lowered the Tds coming out of the membrane to 016!..... And now me pressure reads 52-55... It's been at 42 since I bought the unit...... Meaning I didn't retube it up wrong, it came that way... Just glad I can now enjoy real RODI water instead of wondering why my pressure was low or why was burning through filters....

Now to explain to the wifey why I mopped and why there is wet plastic baggies all over the garage.....

Sherita again, if there is anything I can ever do for you in town..... Lmk..

Your ASOV has a "horseshoe" type flow pattern, like the ASOV on the left below:

The ASOV on the right has a "straight through" flow pattern.

We can email anyone instructions that cover both if the PM us a request w/ their email address.

Glad I could help ya out. That TDS will probably drop to 4-6 after you run the first 5 gallons through there.

Your reef will love ya now

I was advised from Spectrapure to do this when my membrane wasn't seated correctly, fixed it right up.
