Erik, as I understand, 2 Tbsp of Kalk per gallon is "saturated" limewater. However, my aquarium doesn't need quite that much. I've messed around with dosing a bit, and 1Tbsp per gallon keeps me where I want, plus saves me some cash 
You can't really get any MORE than 2 Tbsp per gallon (without vinegar or some such) but you can always add less.
