    Don't worry about borrowing the carbon, how about we just switch out and you can take my torpedo with carbon and all and I'll take your empty one. Kind of like a propane exchange. You'll just need some starter bacteria and a good sized pump (think mag 12) to run it.

    Like I said, I have plenty of pumps. Let me look things over, and I'll put together a package that includes the pump,hoses, piping to go into a tank, and I'll order a "starter" of bacteria. I have several 1200gph pumps laying around. That package SHOULD allow someone to put a crash-kit together, that's available to MAAST members. The only cost to use it would be to replace the bacteria - a really minor cost.

    Having used this combo before, it REALLY works. Too well, quite often!
