I had forgotten that while my daughter lived off of Babcock with her cousin, they found a family of possum living in their dryer. Since it was a gated apartment set she was unable to get animal control out to her apartment until Monday since they needed permission from the management.

She and her cousin attempted to relocate the possums to the field next to the apartment complex. It was pretty funny because at a point in time while carrying the animals out in an icechest mamma got out. Milly started to give her cousin instructions to get them clear of the irritated possum, only to discover that he had dropped everything and had ran full tilt back towards the apartment complex regardless of Milly's safety. I still chuckle when I tell people about it. lol, see, I did it again.

I have a friend who just obtained a vaccum seal machine we can put the cats in... JK :P

We have a cat issue on our street. They poop and pee all over the front doors and gardens. My neighbor got in touch with Universal City Animal Care and Control and they loaned him a live catch cage to set up with some wet cat food and catch them. When he catches them he goes to the animal control center and drops them off. You might call your locan animal control center and see if this is an option.

Unfortunately there's only one way to deal with a feral cat problem and that's the SSS method. Sure you can trap it, but then what... you go let it go somewhere to become a problem for someone else. Just do it as humanely as possible. Antifreeze and stuff like that shouldn't even be joked about, not the way to go and not only for the feral animals but who knows what else will get into it.
EDIT: That's with feral cats. If there's a possibility of it being a neighborhood cat that's running free that's different.
