Thanks all for the fast responds I have seen the new life before just wondering if there was something better or if it was the best. Were is the best place to buy it? Also thank you for the other types of food I'll have to look into some of those.

I use elos dry foods. They don't use poly phosphates as a preservative.
The person that first ran with scissors ruined it for the rest of us.
++ on the dainichi pellets. Sinks to the bottom fairly slow and whatever is left over is consumed by the clean up crew. Had a nice Potter's Angel that was very finicky, but he would eat those pellets like nothing else.
I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

New Life Spectrum. Bob Fenner recommended it to me. We did a Group Buy a year or so ago - bought 5 lbs and we split it up.

I still prefer mostly frozen foods or freeze dried, but I do put some pellets in the automatic feeder. I rotate between dainichi, new life spectrum, and blue zoo mix. The blue zoo mix is definitely my favorite because its not really a "pellet." It has a wide variety of size and texture in every pinch.

Oh yeah. Dianichi seems pretty good. I feed it on e or twice a week. I sometimes feed LPS with it too. :P

I've almost gone entirely pellet food. The dainichi and spectrum.
The only fish I can't seem to get to eat it is the B cardinal.
I hold a sizable pinch just under the surface of the water and start releasing a little bit each time one of the fish nibbles my fingers.
I found that if I drop it onto the surface most end up in the overflow.
I still make my own stuff with HEB ingredients, and if I add any of the frozen food stuff I rinse it before putting it into my recipe.
