    Default Everyone, meet Lego

Lego is a 15 week old lab mix puppy that came into the clinic with a very bad leg. He's scheduled to have it amputated tomorrow morning at the clinc I work at. I'll be fostering him until he fully heals, but he needs a permanent home. He's super sweet and calm. Not once did he cry or try to bit as we inspected and cleaned his wounds. I'm posting two pictures. One of what his leg looked like before we cleaned it and after once bandaged to keep the chances of infection down.

If you're interested please email or PM me.

Awe i have 2 black lab dogs (one is a 5 mo old and the other 5 yr old) that are both amputees and rescues as well. They are great dogs. To anybody wondering, just because they have 3 legs doesnt mean they are dissabled. I have had people ask me when they had the surgery done because last time they saw my dog it had 4 legs.... I laugh and respond she hasnt had 4 legs in the past 5 yrs shes been like that the whole time.

Were unsure of what happened. More then likely he was hit by a car. Who knows how long he's been wondering around like this. One of our workers husbands brought him by the clinic. We were just going to put him down but most of the people at the clinic chipped in some money for the surgery.

Its very cool that you all chipped in to help pay for the surgery. If you need any help with anything or finding a foster home or a permanent home let me know I have a few contacts. My mom fosters dogs untill they get adopted for homes for pets which is a good place to start looking.

Thank you! I really want this pup to go to a good home since he will be a special needs dog He would make an excellent family pet. If you want you can ask around, it will be a while before I send him to anyone. I want to make sure he's fully healed and free of any internal parasites. He's covered in fleas and ticks but thats nothing that can't be treated

Labs after 1.5-2 years old are my favorite dog ever. My labraweinie(think weinie dog with lab paws and face) gets alot of attention here at the dog park we go to.
