    Default Family Addition... :P

We have always had poms, and it wasn't until milly showed up with Cassidy. He's a half schnausser and something else.

Milly will not allow us to go to a puppy mill for a dog, but that's not an issue since cass. That being said, I really want a retriever, and the puppy part is a must for me regardlessly of species. Or at least young dog. I checked out one of the retriever sites that one of the charter members had in their signature block.

When I get to a 'puter I will check out the links provided. Thanks Kristy, o just may check with you all later about it.

Very cool. I love shih tzu's laid back personalities; of course they can be quite spunky if they feel the need to be.

Wow, it turns out that Bella is being very agressive towards everyone!

EDIT: Aggressive may have been the wrong word to use. It may have been too strong of a word. Cranky, moody, snippy...I don't know. Just to clearify, she is not attacking us or the dawgs but when she wants to be left alone, she'll let you know it.

Snapped at my wife and both of our dogs. She also snapped at me nipping my chin. Not a good past 24 hours. Wife is pretty upset.

    :(

We had that happen once with a foster dog. He was the smallest (ours were way bigger) but he would snap at them at the slightest thing. It seems like it was more of a defense thing and luckily he never snapped at us. Was always very loving with people.
He went on to a different foster home and got along great with their dogs. Either just a different chemistry or maybe he just needed longer to settle in.
Did they give you any history on Bella in her foster home (other dogs, etc.). She might just be freaked out right now and get better as she feels more secure.
I'd still call and let the rescue place know though. Maybe they can help.

Allan! With your love of everything manly I would have never pictured you with a purse dog under your arm. Pink sparkly collars too?

Human aggression is always the result of a bigger problem ie previous owners. If you decide to try correcting this problem your self, you should still make it VERY clear to the adoption agency how badly they screwed up in not disclosing this info to you and your family. I'd report them to the city too.
