Flow help me decide..

Ok I currently have an iwaki return that pumps about 950 gph. In my 90gallon tank. I also have a korelia evo at 1400gph and and K1 at 400gph.

I am looking at getting a vortech mp20. Will this be enough or should I get a mp40. Don't really have the funds for an mp40 would have to save, but your suggestions are great.

I'd tell you (not sure about the amount of flow, I've definitely got too much myself to offer much advice) that if you are even remotely interested in the mp40... i'd hold off and save for that rather than get the 20 and decide that it just isn't enough.

You will actually pay more for upgrading the MP20 to a MP40 than you would just waiting to get the 40, especially after you realize...."I should have got the 40". You can dial the 40 down, if it's too much but you will love it.

The fact of the matter is that is just so dang expensive... Are really worth this hefty price? Its either this or a RKE. Oh decisions why are they so hard in this hobby.

I think the vortech would be a better setup, but for the money I'm happy with the evo 1400's and RKL.

Along the same lines, those new Koralia controllables seem to hold a lot of potential both in flow direction, duration, and the ability to tone it down if necessary.

That is why this is such a hard decision for me. I am leaning more towards the vortech, but arggh. I keep reading about both and I am like oh I want that. Then I read about the other and I am like crap I really want that also. Why can't I be rich...

we could all be rich if we got rid of our tanks and put the money we spend every month in a savings account, but who wants to do that boring, vote for vortechmp40 im trying to save for one also

Just remember to think about the other options with the RKL.
