Hey Jack, there's a dentist on the east side of 281 that has what looks like a huge mini brittle star. These are the same ones that poke one or two arms out of the small caves and holes in LR to look for food right? If so, the dentist guy has one that its arm must be a good 8" and hangs out of a crevice much in the same fashion as those others. I'm talking about the brown and whited banded ones, not the white ones.

Where is he at? I needed a good reason to go get my teeth cleaned.

I still need to come by and check out your tank and vice versa.

I keep looking for an excuse to go over.

He does my son's braces on bulverde road, right next to that vet clinic that had that shooting over the summer. Bulverde and Evans.

It looks like a little Brittle Star to me but I don't know much about these kind of critters (I only knew that GSEclipse's little Asterinas sold online 6 for 20 bucks because I actually wanted to buy some... )

So is it a little brittle star and can I keep it? Or is there something dangerous about it?

I have the big brother of this guy. Looks exactly the same(colorwise) but is about 10" across. Creepy as heck when I move him around, those arms feel weird.
