    Default Free Long tentacle anemone

I moved a couple days ago and i dont think my long tentacle took it very well, its turning somewhat brownish tinted and wont attach to my lr. its sitting in a crevice and is still open though. its normally a neon green about 4-5 inches when fully extended. Its free for anyone who can come and get it before 3. I am going out of town for 5 days and dont want to leave it in my tank where i cant watch it and am unsure of were my levels will be after the move. I dont want to risk possibly come back to a crashed tank from a dead nem. :( my loss is your gain, someone with anemone exp preferred. (must have proper lighting!) Will meet somewere in san marcos.

LTA's Don't attach to live rock in nature-- an LTA is found with its foot buried in the sand in knee-deep water... very easy to collect and they don't have the stress of being ripped off a rock so they look great in stores. You need to clear out a 2"-5" radius around the widest part of the anemone and dig a small hole and guide the anemone in. It should perk up in a few days. I had this same problem recently and did some research on wetwebmedia.com

Brown is actually a good color. You only have to worry if it turns white.
