I had the same problem with mine. I thought I was just too rough with it. Just stop working after I tried to reset the time. Since then switched to the digital version. Guess I'll see how long this on last before I have to buy a new one. Been using it for about for 5 months now with no problems. I still like the concept of having day/night timers in one unit as opposed to multiple timer units.

I've been running the Dual mechanical timer version for nearly two years now, but I will never buy another one like it. I had both timers quite switching (the timers still spun, but the power switching stopped working) before the first year was up so I took it apart and messed with it a bit. Both timers worked after reassembly. A few months later they quite again. Another disassembly/reassembly and they worked. A few months later the Actinic/moonlight timer quite switching again, but the daylight timer still works, so I use it to run my cooling fan and bought a pair of IceCap digital timers to run my 660 ballasts.

Those day/night timers are junk,, I have never know anyone to have one that actually worked for any period of time.. I have used an aquacontroller with dc8, cant beat these for multi use timers

I gave up on the powercenter. I bought one from aquacave.com. It broke so I took it to Texas Tropical and they gladly exchanged it for me. They both broke the same way. After using the manual override switch for actinics 5 or 6 times it would stop turning off. So actinic outlets have constant power. POS in my opinion.

the analog version of the coralife power center = suck, although i have had nothing but good experiences with the digital version, although it could be due to the fact that the strip is only used to control one light, which it does admirably.
