I had this exact same spyware problem. I got Symantic antivirus only, no need for their other crap, it slows your computer way down, after doing 2 or 3 virus definition updates and system scans it finally told me the spyware could not be removed but did quarentine it. It has not popped back up after the quarentine but it took several system scans to isolate it. It is a sneaky spyware program.

I live in my own little world. But it's OK, they know me here.

Save yourself the time and trouble and just re-install the operating system!!!

Then, use a password on your PC and buy a cheap computer for house guests to use. I haven't had a virus in over two years since I became the only user on my PC. I also use Antivir...free version.

You may have a rootkit. Few things get by Malwarebytes Antimalware. Here's what you do:

    Download Unhackme from http://greatis.com/unhackme/

Install it, update it, and follow its directions to use it to scan your system.

BTW, you have already installed all available security updates on your system, right? If not, you need to do that also.

Do you have another PC on a network in your home? If you have another PC on a router/switch, then the other PC may also be infected and is reinfecting your PC.

Shout back if you have further trouble. This may need manual removal, which I can do for you if desired.

    Glad to hear it!

Keep in mind that since you probably don't know precisely how you got this in the first place that it's possible to be reinfected. Be careful online and when opening attachments. Keep your system updated and use decent antivirus/antimalware software such as Vipre, available at www.sunbeltsoftware.com.
