i think it is this impracticality that causes reefers to lose interest.

No I bought it all cause I saved up for something I wanted. As interests come and go (especially in this hobby), this system allows me to change it up and pack it up and go where ever I may land. Zoa's are just the current flavor for now

Yup. I love the equipment aspect of this hobby. I think the simpler equipment make things the more people would want to stay in the hobby
