How long have you have the anemone? Sometime BTA move into a crevice and then divided to form two or more clones.
Or it could be hiding from an overly aggressive clown that is beating it to death.

I have onlyhad it about 6 weeks but its huge 5-6 inches across I thoughtit looked like it was going to divide but.... it wasd moving it seems to be doing good underthere. AlsoI have read mixed reviews on deflation. Mine deflates about once every 48 hours and then releasesthis clearish lookin stuff and the clowns pull it away. It fills up and about 18 hours later it happens again give or take a hour. Is this normal behavior? I have a 75g and the water is good and have 48" T5 compact light.
    Thanks again

you can have as many anemones as you would like in a tank. the problem with anemones are:

they move around a lot until they find a comfortable stop.

they will sting/kill fish & corals that get too close

they split every every 1-6 months so you could have more anemones than you would like. I had an a rose not split for 6 months and then one night split into 4.

if you have a male and female anemone they can spawn under the right conditions.

Wow how do you tell the sex of an anemone? This could become a funny joke lol but seriously can you tell? Also do you have to have 2 for them to spawn? Im gonna try that link out for more info.
    Thanks

    Talking My BTA

Ok I flipped the rock and this is it. I think it looks pretty cool. I wish I had a better camera but I prefer spending the money on my fish! Hope you enjoy.

Nice lookin anemone. I wouldn't worry about it. Mine walked to the underside of my cave. It hung out for a while and then moved to its current location. Hasn't moved in months now. Just let it do it's thing....they know best.

P.S. Go to bed, its two in the morning!!
