I know they have a ton of deer, but I have never hunted there myself. I have only visited for camping duringthe summer, and while I was in the office I noticed they offered the ability to bow hunt there in the tourist off season.

Coolio, I'll check it out for sure.
Could set you up with a 3 day rifle hunt in Uvalde ( not for free though). Sorry we don't allow bow hunters.... besides me. have about 1300 acres of field/brush country.
Thanks. I don't have much interest in shooting anything with a rifle unless I'm on a true trophy hunt, which I can't afford, otherwise it's just too easy.
No problem. Just thought I'd offer. I don't rifle hunt much anymore either. I take my son (13) and let him do the shooting. He killed a cull 154 B/C whitetail off of the king ranch last year. I think I may have created a monster!

I live in a deer infested neighborhood in salado. I could take one down with my bare hands on my front porch. I just dont know how to process deer myself or I would.I would rather buy ribeyes than pay a butcher to cut up a stinky deer.
Mike, after you get them down on the ground just gnaw on them like a coyote, no need to butcher first.
