this hobby makes you lazy ;] thats my excuse. before this hobby, i was into working out and was too into it. id freak out if i missed a meal. had to work out certain days. it was too much of a hassle. i lost a lot of muscle and gained weight, but ill get back to it eventually
for the most part, you should do it for yourself, so you wont have complications later in life
what i did was focus on a goal, i would look into magazines and look for what id like to get to, a reasonable goal. just post pics of yourself on the wall the way you look now, and pics of what youd like to look like. think of that every time you work out and you WILL want to lose weight and be healthier
btw, stay away from the scale. just weigh yourself in the mornings after you use the restroom to get your real weight. think of how many lbs youd like to lose in 3 months and work on it. dont look at the scale until then
