Linda, if it is running slow on startup, and just slow in general, I can give you some quick tune-ups which will have your computer running much faster than it probably currently is.

An easy fix for alot of slowdown issues is listed below.

Go to Start>Run and type MSCONFIG and press enter. Go to the "Startup" tab, and de-select everything except for your touchpad (mouse) and wireless. These are eay to figure out, so don't stress out about it.
Then, you can go to the services tab, and check 'hide all microsoft services' and turn the rest of that garbage off. If anything does not work, you can read through each one and check the appropriate ones, if needed.

That should resolve a HUGE amount of slowdown issues. If you need any other help, you can call me. 885-6214

on top of that you can also clean your internet history, do a disk clean up and maybe a defrag.

Jim. In internet explorer, go to tools>internet options>delete (if you have IE7) you can select delete all from there and click the checkmark if prompted.

Wow, Thank You for all that help. But I think I need lots more than that. We are running again thanks to AT&T, but still have issues to resolve. Thanks so much again!
