That's the only situation in which I've seen emerald crabs stray from acceptable food sources. BTW, which particular species starfish did you lose to the emerald crab? My emerald and strawberry crabs don't do anything destructive other than keep certain algae and mysis shrimp issues in check. They also give the arrow crab a decent battle for territory occasionally too as apparently mythrax crabs with a shell diameter over an inch pack some serious heat against him.Originally Posted by Hydramatic
