    Default 90 gal tall acrylic tank

    does any one know how to work with acrylic? if so can you tell me where i can buy enough to make a 90 gallon tall tank, and what supplies i need?
    also if any one has any good dimensions for it can you tell me?

    Um wow. Between people having jobs, kids, social lives, etc... 11 hours is not that long. I'd be worried after 11 days. It's been 5 hours since the last reply, I want to see the finished tank. You did finish it already right?

    Sorry I have not checked in during the last 11 hours to answer your urgent question. (Ok, so it's a week!) You'll need to post the dimensions of the tank you want to build before I or anyone else could tell you how much acrylic you would need, but I'll guess that it sounds like 1/2" might be the right thickness. If you've never built anything out of acrylic, this might not be the best project to start with.

    Possible dimension for a 90 gallon (approximately) would be 36" by 24" by 24", and I think the standard 90 tall glass tanks are 48 by 18 by 24, something like that.

    I was Thinking of doing it 36X18X31, but i dont know. they told me acrylic was gonna run me more $$ than glass. so i'm thinking of doing it out of glass.

    That and acrylic is WAAAYY harder to clean ;-)
