What would have been my best purchase "IS" your best purchase. LOL
(If for some reason you decide not to buy the Euroreef, please let me know. Car repairs came up and bit me this weekend and I dropped the ball in getting back in touch with Michael. Totally my fault so if you were next in line, it rightly belongs to you.)
Excellent deal. Good luck with it.

    Thanks,
    Steve
Would've been mine if it fit in my sump!!!!! Excellent deal!!! My best prchase was my lumenarcs from cpreef and my euroreef from reefcentral

LOL, my best purchase came from CPReefguy as well. Anyone guess what it is?

Anyone see a pattern with the EuroReef's? I've been saying since I got into the hobby that my ER skimmer has made the difference between me royally screwing up and making it by on the skin of my teeth like I do. It doesn't get any easier than ER for the money. I'd add all 4 of my ER's, from the RS80, RS180, RC180 (I won), to the CS60 (5foot tall with 4 Eheim pumps),to the list of the best purchases I've ever made.

Thinking about it for a second while re-reading my post, I'd have to narrow it down to a $5 raffle ticket I bought at a MAAST meeting as being the best purchase I ever made in the hobby. $5 for an $800 skimmer was a pretty good investment. Thanks Carlos and RCA, Thanks MAAST.

    Man, you guys are tough!

I don't know about the best steal of a deal I've made, but I know probably the best investments I've made are books and internet access to research our cool hobby instead of just listening to what sales people tell me. Also, an RO/DI filter was a great investment, no lugging buckets/jugs around to LFS to buy marked up water.

So much countless free stuff from other MAASTards. I remember at one point I picked up what was supposed to be about 30 lbs of rock that ended up being around 50. I had to give more than half of it away because I just didn't need that much.
