My ex has basically abandoned 3 of her kids, been in jail for various felony crimes, and admits to being on drugs in her past. I have never done drugs (never even smoked a cigarette), never been in trouble with the law, and I have done everything possible to be with my son after I found out he was mine. After two visits with my ex wife before meeting me, the social worker had already ruled me out in her mind! I couldn't believe it. I've had other attornies/mediators review her findings and they say she was just outright biased towards the mother figure from the beginning.
Man I am so sorry to hear you going through those ridiculous social worker goofs, avoid them like the plague man! I've seen some of the absolute most ridiculous things come from those people, they are the worst in the entire system from what I've seen a bunch of them in action. What they always end up with absolutely makes no sense! I've seen them actually fabricate and alter testimony in court and almost end up in jail because the testimony didn't even match their own notes. I've read notes/transcripts of their interviews with the kids and them leading my dad's kids and deceptively trying to make them say certain things, one kid was 8 at the time and had to answer the same question for 30 minutes over and over with slightly different wording because they didn't like the answers they were getting. These people do not benefit the kids who are stuck in these situations, but they seem to always get appointed for that reason.
