Hello,

I am excited to get a thread up here. I have one on ARC but San Antonio is much easier to reach out to for supplies and help. I have been to many events through this club at the Aquarium and they are always awesome and worth going. I like the energy the club is putting off at those events.

So a long story short I am currently in a 300g AGE (Dallas made) 96x30x24. It has a center overflow with the outflow for the returns cut into the weir. Tank is sitting on a custom powder coated steel frame built as well by AGE. The sump I had made local at The Salty-fish through Terry. 6 weeks later I have exactly what I wanted for my sump. I return water with an Vectra L1, does the job, very quite. The return shoots through an oceans motions 4 way before heading back up to the tank. I don't rely on the return water for flow but the OM helps with the randomness I like. Lighting is a mix. I have a Hamilton 60" 2 X 250W MH and 2 X 80W fluorescents. In between the metal halides are 3 AI Prime HDs. The next 36 inches of the tank gets an 8 bulb ATI sun power. Mainly 4 blue with 3 coral and 1 actinic. Flow is taken care of by 2 of the new Gyre 280's, facing each other from both end. Plenty of flow.

Most of the coral that made it from my move from the old tank are doing good. Good color and mainly acros and montis. I am in need of some monti's so if you have some let me know.

Getting sump plumbed, wall built , and this is just inspiration.

Thanks and I will add more pics as we go. I look forward to meeting some reefers and seeing some awesome tanks.
