Anyone have any idea why a perfectly fine green trumpet would get spots of purple on it what seems to be over night. I've had this coral over a year and it split from one head to many. Nothing has been wrong with it.

Hard to tell from the pic but is the purple "slimy"?
No I don't believe so. I'm thinking my scuba Steve might have attacked it. Hard to tell though. When I get back home I'll check to see if it's slimy.
