    I've tried the Rod's frozen food and I think since it's a mix of all kinds of different stuff how clean it will be eaten up will depend on your mix of fish. If you got a fish for everything in there you'll have less waste and less algae than if they just pick out certain things and repeatedly leave other stuff behind to rot.
    I have none that would eat the broccoli in there or larger pieces so I didn't stick with that food.
    I am not throwing stuff in there knowing it will just get wasted. Much easier to only add stuff individually knowing each of those components will get eaten

    In-between my frozen mysis & brine feedings, they are fed new life spectrum pellets, ocean nutrition reef flakes, omega one veggie feggie flakes from my auto feeder(very handy)....

    Same here. Mine seem to like the flakes much better than the pellets. I stick with these brands since they seem cleaner in the water than most "junk food" flakes. The ingredients list makes me want to dine out at red lobster.

    I try to keep the flake/pellet feeding to a minimum; my tank is cleaner when I avoid them.
