I agree CPE does work ..Just try it you will love it ..Most do. I tell you what if you want to try it come by store Ill give you enough to run on your tank for free as a test run.. trust me after this you will be hooked on it like I said most are I dont think I would sell as much as we do of this stuff if it didnt work..

Chemi Pure Elite is a great product. For my cyano what I did

Bought Chemi Clean - Product specifically designed for Cyano. Treated to specifications on box.
Did water change after treating with Chemi Clean and added Chemi Pure Elite.
During the treatment of Chemi Clean- you have to remove all carbon, Chemi Pure and turn off skimmer to let it do its job. After treating I noticed a big iffernce.

Key to it working is following directions.

ive been running chemi pure elite, with no ill affects, i had a clarity and red algae problem and since adding it i have no problems, water clarity is better and algae is gone

I had a run in with the red menace and was ready to throw in the towel. I ended up doing a week of lights out, while adding carbon and a phosban reactor. End of the uholy stuff.

i did this when i got my new tank and havent had a problem since but i thinks its my old bulbs to be honest but I'm just going to order everything at once

if your tank is matured i am talking about 1 year old or longer you should not be dealing with these issues you are probley over feeding or your lights are on to long, you might have to much live stock in your tank could be an issue, use a good skimmer, refug. helps a lot also.

well i started using the CPE and i kind of like it i have noticed the cyano not growing as much like it use to its calmed down but i do siphon every so many days ....I haven’t in 10 days or so been lazy
i also didn’t realize how much i needed it was cheaper to just go on DR fosters and order the Grande size which is 3 packs for 35$ plus shipping and waiting a week for it
i also bought the red slime remover and would like to use it but i am to scared
Another thing that might be helping is that I did a decent size clean up crew with reef cleaners and that usually helps with everything

that's exactly what I did with my Pico, added a bag of chemi pure elite and updated my CUC, water changes, the poor lil pico was covered completly in it, the weird part is where the cyano came from the tank was matured all I added was the new LED light and the ac70 fuge with cheato and the heater. took 2 weeks to clear it up
