I've got a great DiveMaster in Cozumel...his name is Fernando Gonzalez Aldana (fernando@mantaraya.com) - he has been diving & living in Cozumel for at least 25 yrs. He doesn't take more than about 6 people at a time. He is especially good with beginners too. I got certified at Dive Masters on Thousand Oaks...and they know him - which is how we found him..I've gotten a few people here on MAAST to dive with him too. I like it more personal as I don't like "large" crowds of people diving at the same time - especially just starting out.

It is an awesome experience...my husband & I have been certified for about 9 yrs now...mostly dived Cozumel but dived in Honduras this past January...wow...what a difference. Current is strong in Cozumel, but it was nice to just slowly check things out. Good luck & let us know how it was...
