floating canopy for halide pendant

I will be starting a build for a floating canopy to house a metal halide pendant this evening, more pics soon...

managed to get some building done yesterday

cut tongue and groove on the boards for the top and joined them as well as cutting the groove for the top panel and miter for the corners on the sides



here is the dry fit of those pieces





next, after cutting a few more pieces, it was time to glue it all together



next step, paint the inside, and then it is time to start staining.
