So i started adding fresh water slowly and since then ive added 2gs.
From those 2gs it went from 1.032 to 1.030. Would it be safe to say its 1g per 0.001?

I checked my hydrometer with 1 fresh gallon of water with 1/2 cup salt. The reading was 1.025. As of now my tank is 1.030.
Clearly my salinity is too hight... What is the best route on lowering my levels?
Slowly add fresh water or take a chunk out and add water with less salt?
Do you think my corals have a chance still?
Personally if it was me I would do a combination of both. I would change approx 50% of the water with slightly lower salinity (1.020) then wait a day or so. Check it and then use the fresh water technic to get it on point if still needed. I'm assuming if you replace half at that lower level when you're done it should be 1.025. Just make sure to add it slowly over an hour or two.
I'd agree with David. Slow and steady wins the race!
