Ato problems

Hey guys, so i use a tunze smart ato, today i was changing my carbon and i accidentally knocked the sensor into the water, im assuming its water proof, so i picked it up and put it back at the desired level, now it turns on then it shuts off then all red lights come on and a constant alarm follows. I cleaned the sensor and everything else i could and problem persist....if you have had this problem and solved it please help

Not sure what the sensor looks like, but like anything electronic, I assume you have got to get the water out. Try to google remedies like you would if you got your cell phone wet. Good luck

Yea i unplugged and gonna let it dry overnight, hopefully that solves the problem...thanks!

I would either get it in some rice, or got to Walmart and get the phone water emergency kits.

Well it should be water proof since the sensor sits inside the sump, and everytime i shut off the return pump the water level in the sump rises above the sensor completely submerging it
