MAAST Facebook Page

This past year, we have at several points had members mention that they would like to see a more active MAAST Facebook and today we begin working towards that goal. As of earlier this week, administrative duties of the page transferred from its creator to three board members. Myself, Paul, and John. Due to the issues with verifying whose who from Maast and the Facebook group, we will be instituting the following rules on the page to get it running as quick as possible:

1) Activity on the Facebook must be in line with what is currently asked for in our Terms of Use. If you are unframiliar with the terms of use, it can be found here:

2) Until a means can be found to link the user names on Maast with the Facebook names, no selling of any kind will be allowed. (Please bear with us as we have a few ideas on how this can be done). This does not apply to sponsors who post from their store pages, or employees of those stores if verification can be made.

3) The MAAST FB page is open to all, web/charter/ non members alike so long as their posts remain in line with our tou. Spam bot accounts will be banned immediately.

Please bear with us as we hope to be able to identify our charter members to allow for their privledges on the facebook as soon as possible. We believe the Facebook page can be a fantastic way to improve our membership numbers, participation, and meeting attendance.
