Thread: PAR results for 40b and Hydra 52

Default PAR results for 40b and Hydra 52

The results have 2 number ( Current settings / 100% max)

In the pictures you can see the light is off centered due to having an overflow setup for the tanks peninsula style.

I did notice my chalice and acans losing color, they are on the far outskirts of the tank, being shaded by hammers or duncans. After pulling the PAR in those areas im getting 10-20 par, im figuring it could be an attribute to them browning? I know there alot of variables but I do 5 gallon water change once a week, 24/7 skimming, and 12 hours a day running a small amount of carbon in a reactor.

    Current settings.

Light is ~16-17 inches off the water.

Sorry, the tank is kinda dirty and the canopy is unfinished.

    Thanks in advance!
    Stephen.

Thanks. These are always very helpful. I'll be borrowing the maast par meter for my readings next week. I'll also post them here.
