Thread: Frag or fuge tank....

    Default Frag or fuge tank....

Toying with the option of each..... Tank was just sitting in my garage and I'm bored. I would like to take all the frags out of my display but then again, i would like another fuge with different types of macros...

If its a frag tank it would likely be lit by a ai hydra, if its a fuge a ai nano.. It will be fed from my sump by a sicce 1 or .5, both of which I already have.

Both options would be cool imo, and both beneficial...

    Which would you do?

I would say a low flow/ refugium area. I have a spare 15 High that is laying around that I am playing with the idea of converting into a Zoa and LPS tank that is plumbed into my existing system. That way I can get the high flow for my SPS, and have nothing sitting on the sand, and the wife is happy with her Zoa garden

I would consider miracle mud. I used some in a HOB refugium for a while before I upgraded my tank due to a leak. It was amazing how much diversity was living in the mud and macros love it.
