    Default Frag Tank Fish

Hey everyone, I'm getting a frag tank built right now that will be 22x27x11" right around 28-29 gallons. I'm going to have a frag rack on the left 2/3 of the tank that will be propped up leaving space under it and on the entire right 1/3 of the tank.

I'd like to keep a fish or 2 in here, anyone have any ideas? I've read a lot about the sixline's in frag tanks but don't really have any pest issues for them to monitor. I'm looking for a cool fish or 2; any ideas?

I originally thought about a pair of clowns an a nem on the empty side, thoughts? Opinions?

I would suggest some utility fish, a small bristle tooth tang like a yellow eyed kole tang to help keep the tank clean/pick at algae. Other algae eaters- tail spot blenny might be cool, as would a shrimp/goby pair. How about a cool invert- arrow crab or sea apple. Just some suggestions...

I may try to get something like an arrow crab in there with a fish or two. Do you think the tanks big enough to keep a small tang for quite a while?

Sounds like a neat frag tank. Clowns and shrimp for sure. Pajamas are good too . . .

I would get something more beneficial to a frag tank...... A small wrasse to pick any unwanted pests. A goby or blennie of some sort to clean any frags..

Arrow crab would be cool too....

Clowns and nem would be cool, but not very useful....

How much sand are you putting in there? Little to none or a lot. Some fish need more sand than others.

    Rainfords goby
    Clown goby
    Geometric Hawk
    Arrow crab
    Cleaner shrimp

Sixline would be a great pest control fish just don't be surpised if it gets aggressive.

Thanks! Clowns were the original idea, and I may still go with them; just seeing what other suggestions anyone has.

I'm not going to have any sand in here. It'll be plumbed into my current DT and sump
