    Clownfitch, did you have trouble with reading mag levels? How did you exactly do it?

    Once you get to your target mag level give it a day or two holding steady. You should start to notice the bright green of the bryopsis fade to a full grey and then it starts disappearing. You can use a siphon to start removing some of it if you want. Just remember to raise the mag level again after the water change.

    X2 on only Kent tech. Used fluval mag and nothing happened.

    There is something "special" in the kent. It's not just magnesium.

    Kent m has a small bit of copper in it.

    But it does not cause any problems with inverts.

    Default Bryopsis Problem

    There was something it in that kills bryopsis that has nothing to do with mag. I think it was a Randy Holmes-Farley post. I'll see if I can find it.
