Looking for the maximum bio load for a FOWLR setup. Looking at buying a 56 or 60 cube.

It really depends. You can't compare the bio load in that manner really. For example, a 4" trigger has a considerable load vs a 4 diamond goby.

In a 50-60g tank, I'd keep a "Jelly bean" tank. All small colorful fish with plenty of movement.

if you go on liveaquaria website you will get information on each fish and it's tank size requirements. just cause you buy a fish that's not full grown doesn't mean it ok to put in a smaller tank, lots of salt water fish have special requirements. some may stay small but need a lot of rock to grave on or to look for food on(pods and such). so research the fish you want and what it needs to thrive
