Default power strip and Reef Keeper question

So my reef keeper is scheduled to be delivered today. I was wondering if the RK power strips had GFI protection built in. I currently have my tank hook up to a GFI outlet but now that I am moving the refugium from the fish room back to under the stand there is no GFI plug nearby. If the RK doesn’t have GFI protection, is there another type of power strip that I can buy that will give me the protection?

Default power strip and Reef Keeper question

You can replace the outlet with a GFCI outlet. I would.

Would i have to do any rewiring? I know that most of the GFI plugs in the house are tied together so when one triggers they all turn off

A GFCI plug would be the cheapest and you would not have to rewire anything to put it in. If you don't want to go that route, homedepot sells GFCI extension cords.
