    Default Neon Green Palau Nepthea

I have a nice colony of this coral that has been growing very rapidly. It is to the point where it is reaching the height of a colony of gobstoppers. Not touching them but to there level and within an inch or two. The last several days the polyps on the side close to the nepthea have remained closed. Does the Nepthea utilize any chemical warfare? I can't find much on them. Everything I read says Temperament: peaceful or semi aggressive with no detail on how they are semi aggressive.

leathers emit several substances very closely related to turpentine called turpenoids.

If able, trim the branch that is next to your zoas... put it on a piece of rock or in a rubble rock trough.

It is on a removable rock so I moved it to my spa tank where it has plenty of room tonspread out. The zoas are starting to open now so it was the nepthea causing them grief.
