I do. An obvious con is they take up space. An obvious pro.. can save you from introducing parasites and disease to your disease free systems. BUT... unless you are treating the livestock while in quarantine and already have a disease free system then I'm not a big fan. I'm all for them if you can get a controlled system going. It is nice to have a dedicated hospital tank to use to treat fish when needed but I find most fish don't like being pulled from their happy home in the display.

I do but I only set it up when bringing in new fish. I have used 100 gallon Rubbermaid tub, 65 gallon tank, 10 gallon, and a 40 gallon breeder along with the following as a filter

I use water from my existing tank along with prazi pro. I use the largest size and keep the filter in my sump to make sure it is full of bacteria. Lorraine (BSJF) taught me this and I am in debt to her for life!

Alton, how do you clean the sponge of medication before returning it to your sump after a QT period?

Shane, if you want to let that go, I may be interested. I've seen it in person, just need to see if it will fit in the space I am thinking of.

Alton, can you share this setup and QT process? I'm about to do one under my display for my rebuild.
