that's pretty sweet, when they get bigger save me a lil frag. All my zoas died in the most recent tribulation, lps is fine, but all sps and zoas got wiped out despite a once a week WC regiment, and that even includes my fairy dusts(thought nothing would effect them)

I will have lots of frags of all kinds available during the frag swap incluing those zoas. If looking for one sooner LMK. I 25+ frags of the radioactive greens and reds available. Lots of polyps.

right on, hopefully i can get this algae cleared up by then, although i fear it may be the much dreaded bryopsis. On a positive note, I got my leds in about 3 days ago and the new spectrum has made a little difference already.

You could try the mag trick on bryopsis. I have not done it, but many report successfully getting rid of bryopsis by raising their mag to 1800.

i was gonna pull out all that could be peroxided, and do that first. The magnesium thing very well may work, and will be the last in my 3 step approach, removal and fragging off the pieces affected that are attached to my stonies, peroxide the pieces that will survive it, and magnesium is the final step to give it a fighting chance at making a difference without releasing the stored nutrients into the water column. In a 24 gallon tank minimizing is the key, especially since i've taken to feeding a little heavily. sorry for the hijack, and Tuan, this is the reason you haven't heard from me in a while, every time i think i've won the battle, it comes back full force. the hermits i got have done little, and the snails either are just dying or getting eaten by my candy hog(have a strange obsession with that fish, and have for many years.) sorry for the thread hijack, although i reckon you got your answer already, so it's not really a hijack
