Thanks, at first I had the "itch" and to be honest I'm still fighting it. ADHD definately does not help lol and I know exactly what you mean about the spaces bwtween the rocks and it never occured to me until a few hours after looking at them. But I can't think of a way to fill in the gaps without mixing more mud and filling them in...but unless you know a safe mix that won't add lime and other cement hydration byproducts to the tank I can't think of a way to do it.

Use the emaco mortar, has to dry first, but can be added into the tank after it dries.

This just popped into my head....a buttload of marine safe silicone mixed with white argonite.....will it cure underwater? The only other thing I can think of us to use my kids aquariums I bought last week....a 3.9 fluvial view...and a 4gal marineland that I've got cycling (with crushed coral from my fuge and water from my display to speed up the cycle....to house my clowns turbo shrimp and urchin while I drain the tank cement the gaps and let it re-cycle. The only problem is my wife would kill me for making her wait again. She was on the fence up until 2 weeeks ago about even doing saltwater and now she seems to be even more excited than I am

Maybe some interestingly shaped rocks that piller up and lean against the open areas, thus filling some of the blank areas.
