Thats exactly how I caught mine. Scooped him right into the net. He was already in the sump by the time he figured out what happened.

Last time I had a fox face he was caught fairly quickly...by an angler fish with a big appetite. the poor angler died as a result of eating it. the fox-face was 3 times as big as the angler so i thought it was safe enough...
