Reason for selling:
"Well... ironically now that I finally am able to culture pods efficiently my second female unexpectedly passed away.
No signs of illness. Just recently I got grass shrimp from the coast and she was very agile and very interested in hunting her food.
So her passing was as unexpected as Poppy's earlier this year.
That leaves me with the male who seems happy and healthy and I am at this point not thinking of getting any more females.
My breeding efforts are coming to an end with this. But I'll still enjoy my seahorse boy in the cube by himself..."
The set up above is used by places like Seahorse Source to successfully raise pelagic fry. It really is a great set up.

UPDATE:Life is taking a different direction for me and I need more space. Here's what's left: the fry tub, plumping and table. I'd be happy to see this go for $30!!! You can outfit the rest yourself. Also left the phyto cones from Florida Aquafarms. They usually run around $30 bucks a piece -get all 6 for $100!I can bring the phyto cones into town but the fry tup and table needs to be picked up with a truck. Special offer for educational institutions: If you are using this for your classroom the fry tub set up is free.

Thank you Karin for the tanks and equipment, it will all be put to good use. It was great seeing you again. This will be a "Pay it Forward". I did forget, I already have a nice solid would stand that I can use for the grow out tank.

Gorgeous! But I need BIGGER fry -not smaller. lol. I wonder how things would have went with Kudas -all of the pelagic fun without all of the tiny Reidi size trouble...?

Kuda are actually a complex rather than a distinct species. They differ greatly in their adult size and the size of the fry. The H. taeniopterus that Dan is raising produce much larger pelagic fry and are so much easier to raise than reidi. His broodstock was originally imported from Seahorse Australia as CB pairs. Yes, they do come in a yellow morph. The newborn fry are capable of consuming prey in the 400+ micron range. I know, I am a enabler.
